Allegiant Trims Summer Flight Network

Allegiant Air is scaling back its Northern Summer 2026 schedule with nearly 30 route changes across its growing leisure network.

The airline will temporarily suspend all flights from Kansas City, Richmond and Rochester during the slower fall travel season.

These pauses are seasonal only, with Allegiant confirming service will return later as travel demand strengthens once again.

Several routes from Austin, Burbank and Destin will also end earlier or pause to match changing passenger demand patterns.

The airline says these updates help optimize aircraft use while keeping its low-cost leisure travel model financially efficient.

Passengers in affected cities should check bookings regularly, as schedules may change and alternative travel options may be needed.

Despite the adjustments, Allegiant remains focused on affordable nonstop leisure routes and expects many services to resume later.
